Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: January 1, 2026

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Apex Pistol Training website and your registration for and participation in courses and services offered by Apex Pistol Training ("Apex," "we," "us," or "our").

By using our website, registering for a course, or participating in training, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms.

1. Training Services

Apex Pistol Training provides firearms education, training, and related services. Course content and activities may vary depending on the course selected and may include classroom instruction, firearms handling, live-fire training, qualification training, and other educational activities.

Course descriptions, schedules, locations, instructors, prices, and requirements may change when reasonably necessary.

2. Registration

Registration is not complete until the required registration information and payment have been received and accepted by Apex Pistol Training.

Students are responsible for providing accurate registration and contact information.

3. Course Registration Transfers

A course registration may be transferred to another person.

The original registrant must notify Apex Pistol Training of the transfer before the scheduled course whenever reasonably possible.

The replacement student is responsible for satisfying all applicable eligibility, identification, training, safety, and legal requirements for the course.

A transfer does not entitle either party to a refund.

4. Eligibility and Legal Compliance

Students are responsible for determining whether they are legally eligible to possess, handle, transport, or use a firearm and whether they meet the requirements applicable to the course in which they participate.

Apex Pistol Training does not provide legal advice.

Participation in a course does not create a right to possess, purchase, carry, transport, or use a firearm where prohibited by applicable law.

For courses intended to satisfy a governmental training or licensing requirement, students remain responsible for completing any additional application, background-check, fingerprinting, qualification, licensing, or other requirements imposed by the applicable governmental authority.

5. Safety Requirements

All students must follow Apex Pistol Training's Firearms Safety Rules, instructor instructions, range rules, and applicable laws.

Apex Pistol Training may stop or terminate a student's participation when the student engages in unsafe, disruptive, threatening, or otherwise inappropriate conduct.

6. Assumption of Risk

Firearms training and live-fire activities involve inherent risks, including the risk of serious injury, death, property damage, or other loss.

By participating in training, you acknowledge these inherent risks and agree to follow all safety instructions and procedures.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you voluntarily assume the ordinary risks associated with participation in firearms training and related activities.

7. No Guarantee of Results

Apex Pistol Training provides instruction and training but does not guarantee that a student will achieve a particular level of shooting proficiency, obtain a firearm license or permit, pass a governmental qualification, or receive approval from any governmental agency.

Governmental applications and approvals are determined by the applicable governmental authority.

8. Refunds, Rescheduling, and No-Shows

All course payments are non-refundable.

Students may request to reschedule a course when the request is made at least 24 hours before the scheduled course start time. Rescheduling is subject to availability.

Cancellations or rescheduling requests made less than 24 hours before the scheduled course start time, as well as no-shows, will normally result in the loss of the course payment.

Apex Pistol Training may, at its sole discretion, permit a late reschedule when a student has a legitimate hardship, emergency, or other good reason. Such an accommodation is discretionary and does not establish a right to future accommodations.

9. Cancellation or Rescheduling by Apex Pistol Training

If Apex Pistol Training cancels or must reschedule a course, affected students will be notified as soon as reasonably possible.

Apex Pistol Training will provide the affected student with an opportunity to reschedule for another available course.

A course cancellation by Apex Pistol Training does not create an automatic right to a monetary refund.

10. Safety and Removal from Training

Apex Pistol Training reserves the right to refuse, suspend, or terminate participation when necessary to protect students, instructors, range personnel, or others.

Examples include unsafe firearm handling, failure to follow instructor or range commands, threatening or disruptive behavior, impairment, or violation of applicable rules or laws.

Except where otherwise required by law, removal from training for safety or conduct violations does not create a right to a refund or rescheduling.

11. Website Information

We make reasonable efforts to maintain accurate website information. However, course availability, schedules, pricing, locations, descriptions, and other information may change.

Apex Pistol Training does not guarantee that the website will always be available, uninterrupted, or free of errors.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Apex Pistol Training and its owners, instructors, employees, contractors, and representatives shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from or related to use of the website or participation in training.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive or limit any right or liability that cannot legally be waived or limited under applicable law.

15. Indemnification

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to be responsible for claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and reasonable expenses arising from your unlawful conduct, intentional misconduct, or violation of these Terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws applicable in the State of Maryland, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
